Lauren DeMarco, Mixed Media Fine Artist based in New Jersey, specializing in collage and acrylic.

Artist Statement:

I’ve always wanted to be a 'light' for those around me, but I find that my brightest expressions happen on the canvas rather than in words. My work is deeply rooted in the places that feel like a sanctuary: the rhythmic ocean, the untamed garden, and a quiet home.

Through a romantic and emotional lens, I explore the playful tension between hard lines and soft textures. An invitation to embrace imperfection, a curated space of detail and depth designed to evoke the steady, familiar warmth of safety and hope.

My process is deeply intuitive. Every piece starts with a simple concept, evolving through layers of paint, thrifted paper, and repurposed textiles.
